Cycling Vest (carmel)
Description and technologies
Cycling Vest Windproof is the evolution of a proven classic. It keeps the same minimalist look and dependable functionality - now refined down to the smallest detail to support you even better on every ride.
Need a lightweight protective layer for windy descents and cooler days - one that won’t restrict movement and is always easy to carry?
Cycling Vest Windproof was designed for cyclists who want comfort, a dialed-in fit, and practical solutions for changing conditions. The updated cut sits better on the body and helps improve aerodynamics, giving you a clean, sporty look and full freedom of movement on the bike. Thanks to its universal design, it works equally well for women and men - you can wear it over a cycling jersey or as an extra layer over a long-sleeve top when temperatures drop. For better thermal comfort, the vest features a high collar and an internal zipper flap that helps block wind from getting in. Around the neck, a soft, pleasant to-the-touch fabric was added, making it comfortable even during long training sessions. Elastic finishing details improve the fit and help reduce the risk of chafing. On the back panel, a 5 cm silicone gripper strip keeps the vest securely in place, even during dynamic riding and sudden position changes.
A practical feature you’ll appreciate out on the road: easy access. This special back-panel solution makes it quick and easy to reach the pockets of your jersey or cycling top without taking the vest off. That means gels, your phone, or arm warmers are always within reach.
Cycling Vest is also exceptionally packable. Folded down, it takes up less space than a jacket, so you can easily stash it in a jersey pocket or a top pocket and take it anywhere the weather might surprise you. For added safety, reflective details are now placed not only on the back but also on the front, improving your visibility in poor conditions and after dark.
Materials & Technologies
Cycling Vest Windproof is made from two complementary fabrics that combine protection and comfort while you ride. The front panel provides effective protection against wind and chill, especially useful on descents and exposed, windy stretches.
The back panel remains breathable, supporting ventilation and helping maintain a stable body temperature, reducing the risk of overheating during harder efforts.
A long YKK® two-way zipper makes it easy to adapt to changing conditions: unzip from the top to increase ventilation, or unzip from the bottom to access jersey pockets conveniently, without removing the vest.
Reflective elements enhance on-road safety, positioned to improve visibility in worse conditions and after dark. In version 2.0, additional reflective details were also added to the front, helping you stay more visible to oncoming traffic.
